Enturf ("Enturf," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website https://enturf.ai, the Enturf mobile applications (EnturfPlayer, EnturfAdmin, EnturfTour, and EnturfCoach), and the camera and software systems installed at partner turf venues (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email, phone number, date of birth (optional)
  • Profile information: profile photo, gender, preferred sport, friends list
  • Booking information: turf, date, time slot, payment method
  • Match information: scoring inputs, team assignments, results
  • Communications: messages you send to us via email, WhatsApp, or in-app support

Information collected automatically

  • Device information: model, operating system, unique device identifiers
  • Usage information: pages visited, features used, app interactions, crash logs
  • Location information: approximate (city-level) location to surface nearby turfs; precise location only when you explicitly enable it for check-in or directions
  • Cookies and similar technologies on the website (including Google Analytics)

Information from camera and turf systems

  • Video recordings of matches played at Enturf-equipped venues. You appear in these recordings if you play a match at an Enturf venue.
  • AI-generated metadata: ball trajectory, player tracking, event detection (boundaries, wickets, goals, cards) tagged to specific match frames.
  • Highlight clips automatically generated from these recordings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process bookings and payments
  • Generate, store, and deliver match recordings, highlight clips, and statistics
  • Send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, match availability)
  • Send promotional communications (you can opt out at any time)
  • Improve the Service through analytics and crash reporting
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Partner turf venues: When you book or play at a partner venue, that venue's operators receive booking and match information necessary to host you.
  • Service providers: We use third-party providers who have access only to the data necessary to perform their work. The principal third parties are listed in Section 10 below (Firebase, Razorpay, Google Analytics, and our hosting provider).
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: If Enturf is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Permissions Used by Our Mobile Apps

  • Camera: to scan QR codes for match check-in and to upload profile photos
  • Photos / media: to save match clips you choose to download
  • Location: to surface the nearest Enturf-equipped turfs
  • Notifications: for booking confirmations, match-ready alerts, and friend activity
  • Microphone: only when you record audio for a match recap (not used for general listening)
  • Contacts: only if you choose to invite friends from your address book

You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Match recordings and highlight clips are typically retained for 12 months from the match date, after which they may be archived or deleted. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days after deletion. Some information may be retained longer if required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@enturf.ai with the subject line "Privacy request." We will respond within 30 days.

7. Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Enturf account and associated personal data at any time by emailing contact@enturf.ai with the subject line "Delete my account." Include the email address or phone number associated with the account. We will delete your account within 30 days, subject to legal obligations to retain certain records (such as transaction history for tax or accounting compliance).

Match recordings in which you appear may be retained as part of the venue's archive even after your account is deleted, since these belong jointly to other players and the venue operator. Contact us if you need a specific recording removed.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 18 in jurisdictions where applicable law requires parental consent for processing). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us personal information can contact us to request deletion.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and recommend you use a strong password and protect your account credentials.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services. Each has access only to the data needed for its specific function. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these third parties' own systems — we encourage you to read their privacy policies as well.

  • Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, real-time database, cloud storage, push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and crash reporting for our mobile apps. Data shared: account identifiers, device tokens, app interaction events. Firebase privacy policy.
  • Razorpay Software Private Limited — payment processing for bookings, pay-per-match access, and tournament fees. Data shared: name, email, phone, payment instrument details (handled directly by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers). Razorpay privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website and app usage analytics. Data shared: anonymised usage events, device and browser information, approximate location. Google privacy policy.
  • Cloud hosting and content delivery — our website and backend run on commercial cloud hosting providers. Data shared: server access logs (including IP addresses) for the limited time required to operate and secure the Service.
  • Mapping & location providers — used in-app to display nearby turfs and directions when you enable location services.

11. International Data Transfers

Enturf is based in India and processes data primarily within India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India and other countries where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app message or email). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
